Most of the start-ups have challenges in building their corporate brand as they have no resources, such as money and internal structure, nor do they have customers or even a consistent idea how the end-product should look like. Having a strong brand enables start-ups to increase their visibility and ensure a certain level of quality that ultimately increases their chance of success.

In this webinar, Amir reviews the opportunities and challenges that start-ups face in building their brands in the digital era and suggests a conceptual model with three notions; Emotion, Innovation, and Co-creation to address these dilemmas.

About the Speaker

Amir is the Franchise World Link Director of Middle East in Dubai, UAE with research interest focused on Start-up Branding in the digital era while being a doctoral candidate at Bradford University School of Management.  

Drawing on 20 years of experience in international business and sales in diversified industries, including agricultural machinery, pharmaceutical packaging and franchise retail and start-ups, he carries a rigorous academic background as a part-time researcher and university lecturer. Amir is an Alumnus of the Emeritus Institute of Management and has attended executive courses at MIT Sloan, NYU Stern, Tuck and Columbia in the US as well as IESE and IE in Spain.
